New York Times launches Connections word game

Connections Game

The New York Times’s daily word game Connections has a new puzzle available for players to solve. The goal is to arrange 16 words into four color-coded groups of four based on the links between them. Today’s words are FLEE, LEAVE, RETREAT, WITHDRAW, KNEAD, PURR, SCRATCH, SHED, ABOUT, CONTACT, HOME, LOGIN, COTTAGE, CREAM, GOAT, and STRING.

Hints are provided for each group. The yellow group relates to going back. The green group involves feline verbs.

The blue group is about online sections. The purple group says “Say ____ for the camera.”

The yellow “Turn tail” group includes FLEE, LEAVE, RETREAT, and WITHDRAW.

New daily puzzle game explodes

KNEAD, PURR, SCRATCH, and SHED make up the green “Things cats do” group. ABOUT, CONTACT, HOME, and LOGIN belong to the blue “Pages on a website” group. The purple “____ cheese” group consists of COTTAGE, CREAM, GOAT, and STRING.

Players select four words they think go together and submit their answer. Incorrect guesses cost a life, with the game ending after four mistakes. The puzzle was straightforward today.

Obvious connections like PURR for the green group and LOGIN for the blue group provided a good starting point. Check back for hints and solutions for future Connections puzzles if needed. Enjoy solving the daily word game!
