motorola unveils budget-friendly Moto Watch 120

Moto Watch

Motorola has unveiled a new budget-friendly smartwatch called the Moto Watch 120. The watch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and comes in Glacier Silver, Phantom Black, and Rose Gold color options. The Moto Watch 120 is already listed on several regional websites ahead of a global release.

It appears to be currently available only in the US, retailing for $129.99. Shipping is expected to start in late September or early October. The smartwatch boasts up to 10 days of battery life from its 300 mAh battery.

It operates on Moto Watch OS, rather than Wear OS, but supports Google Fit integration, Bluetooth calling, and AI assistant control with Google Assistant, Gemini, or Bixby. Motorola has highlighted the smartwatch’s IP68 certification, indicating its resistance to dust and water.

Affordable Moto Watch 120 features

Other notable features include a SpO2 sensor, a speaker, and a microphone. The watch case is made of Zinc Alloy and offers an IP68 resistance rating, making it dustproof and providing water resistance up to 1.5 meters. Additional features include an accelerometer, built-in GPS, and Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility.

One of the most appealing aspects is its price, with the Moto Watch 120 available for $130. Compared to other budget-priced smartwatches, it presents a strong value given its extensive list of features. Although Motorola is well known for its smartphones, the smartwatch is actually produced by CE Brands.

The company has a low social media presence and has not widely announced the Moto Watch 120, which is why its release has only now been reported by sites like Digital Trends. The Moto Watch 120 offers a comprehensive array of features at a competitive price point, making it an enticing option for tech enthusiasts and fitness aficionados alike. With the introduction of the Moto Watch 120, Motorola continues to diversify its wearable technology offerings, catering to budget-conscious consumers seeking advanced tech features in their smartwatches.
