Bungie has released a special scavenger hunt in Destiny 2 to celebrate the franchise’s 10th anniversary. Players can find five hidden chests called Cayde’s Stashes scattered throughout the Lost City in the Pale Heart destination. Each chest contains a piece of the nostalgic Veteran Legend armor set.
To start the search, players should spawn at the Lost City landing zone. The first chest is located behind some crates near where Cayde-6 used to stand during The Final Shape campaign. The second chest is found near the spot where Eris Morn was located in the original Destiny’s Tower.
Players should head down the stairs and look towards the middle area before the tunnel entrance. The third chest is to the right of the spawn point, near a friendly Cabal at the Tower Hangar entrance.
Destiny 2 scavenger hunt details
It’s hidden behind a large wire on the second platform. The fourth chest is also near the spawn area, to the left of the entrance leading to the Speaker’s room. Players should go up the stairs past the Awoken guard and look behind the wall structure.
The final chest is inside the Speaker’s room, hidden behind some bushes on the right side. After collecting all five chests on one character, players should repeat the process on their other two characters to unlock the armor set for each class. Additionally, players can claim an Eververse package from the Special Deliveries terminal in the Tower to receive the complete Veteran Legend set as armor ornaments.
Completing this scavenger hunt also contributes to earning the Legend title and a special 10th-anniversary emblem. While the community had hoped for a larger celebration, this scavenger hunt serves as a fun, free activity for all players to engage with and earn a meaningful reward. The Veteran Legend armor set pays homage to one of the first armor concepts revealed for the original Destiny game, making it a fitting tribute to the franchise’s decade-long journey.
